Head Pressure Control Pressure Transducer from ICM Controls delivers precise head pressure monitoring for HVAC systems. The ICM380 combines a ceramic capacitive sensor with a rugged brass connector to ensure reliable readings in demanding head pressure control applications.
With a 72-inch length, it suits large refrigeration runs and tight engine rooms. Operating from 4.5-5.5 VDC, it provides an output of 0.5-4.5 VDC (typical) and supports up to 2.5 mA of output current. The device handles 0-500 PSI with a 1/4 inch SAE Female Flare connection and a 6-foot Schrader deflator line for easy setup.
Engineered for HVAC and refrigeration systems, this transducer supports critical functions such as discharge and suction pressure monitoring, subcooling and superheat calculations, compressor oil pressure monitoring, condenser fan control, and compressor staging and unloading. It also integrates with electronic expansion valve control and remote diagnostics for proactive system trending and maintenance.
