How the rebuild works
Core exchange is required — we rebuild your catalytic converter, so we need your core to complete the job.

- We rebuild it with new internals, built to meet EPA emissions standards.
- We ship it back — usually within 3–5 business days of receiving your core.
Which Kubota excavators have a rebuildable DOC
Tier 4 Kubota mini and compact excavators run Kubota 03-series diesels with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC); mid-size models like the KX040 and KX057 pair the DOC with a DPF. This covers the U- and KX-series above about 26 hp.
The popular 3-ton class spec’d at 24.8 hp has no aftertreatment — no DOC to rebuild — so screen by horsepower first. We rebuild the DOC; the DPF is cleaned separately. Not sure which you have?
