The Caleffi 573403A Backflow Preventer delivers reliable protection for plumbing and hydronic systems. This Type Dual Check Continuous Pressure device combines backflow prevention with a built-in pressure reducing valve to guard potable water while maintaining steady downstream pressure.

Designed for easy installation, it features a nominal 1/2 inch size with end connections of Female Threaded Union x Female Threaded Union. The brass body houses a stainless steel disc/poppet and spring, with an EPDM diaphragm and seal. Rated for 32 to 250°F and up to 175 PSI, it supports a flow rate up to 5.5 GPM and is suitable for plumbing and hydronic applications. It meets ASSE 1012, CSA B64.3, NSF 372, ICC-ES, IPC, IRC, UPC, ANAB, FM, ICIM, and ISO 9001 standards and is lead-free.
