Caleffi Z40 Motorized Zone Valve

The Caleffi Z40 Motorized Zone Valve is a reliable 2-way valve designed for precise zone control in heating and air conditioning systems. Featuring inverted flare x inverted flare end connections and a spring-return electric actuator, it opens to regulate hot or chilled water with dependable on/off performance.

Built with a brass body, stainless steel stem, EPDM seal and paddle, this valve withstands demanding HVAC conditions. It handles media from hot to chilled water across a wide temperature range (32–240°F) and a high pressure rating up to 300 psi. The actuator provides fast, predictable action with a 60-second open and 6-second close timing. Power is supplied by 24 V AC at 50/60 Hz (0.4 A, 5 W, 7 VA). The push-button mounting offers easy installation and serviceability.

Designed for safe, compliant operation, it is lead-free and UL listed (Canada and US) with NSF/ANSI 372 and ICC-ES PMG certifications. The valve features 18-inch wire leads and a flow capacity of 3.5 Cv, making it suitable for a range of HVAC applications.
