Erie Controls VT2417 Zone Valve Body

The Erie Controls VT2417 Zone Valve Body is a rugged 1 inch, 2-way valve designed for precise control in heating and cooling systems. Built with a forged brass body and a nickel-plated stem, it uses soldered x soldered end connections for dependable installs. The Buna N paddle and brass seat ensure reliable operation in hot and chilled water applications, including glycol blends, with a temperature range from 32 to 200 °F and a close-off rating of 25 psi.

The valve is normally closed and uses a 2-position, spring-return actuator for fail-safe operation. Expect efficient cycling with a valve timing of 25 seconds at 60 Hz or 30 seconds at 50 Hz; the spring-return variant closes fully in about 9 seconds. With a flow capacity of 7.5 Cv, the VT2417 supports balanced hydronic circuits while tolerating up to 300 psi static pressure and ambient conditions up to 104 °F.
