Erie Controls VT3317 Zone Valve Body

The Erie Controls VT3317 Zone Valve Body is a precision 3-Way valve designed for reliable zone control in heating and cooling systems. This VT3317 model features a 3/4 inch nominal size with soldered x soldered end connections and a robust forged brass body, delivering durable performance in demanding environments.

Operated by a 2-Position, spring-return actuation system, the valve is normally closed and offers a dependable fail-safe operation. The internal components include a nickel-plated stem, brass seat, and Buna N paddle, optimized for smooth operation with hot or chilled water and glycol media. Valve timing is 25 seconds (60 Hz) or 30 seconds (50 Hz), with a spring-return option achieving full open to full close in 9 seconds. The unit supports both horizontal and vertical mounting and is rated for 32 to 200°F fluid temperature and up to 300 PSI static pressure (40 PSI close-off).

Designed for long life and precise control, it’s ideal for HVAC applications where reliable zone isolation, easy manual override, and a compact 7.5 Cv flow capacity are essential.
