The Honeywell S8701A1042 direct spark ignition control is a reliable low-voltage module for gas-fired furnaces, boilers and heating appliances. It provides a single trial for ignition with a 30-second pre-purge followed by a 21-second trial time and uses a single-rod sensing arrangement.

This model includes an alarm terminal and replaces the S87J1034, coordinating pre-purge, spark ignition and flame sensing for safe, dependable operation.
