The ICM283 Gas Ignition Control is a microprocessor-based, hot surface ignition controller designed for natural gas or propane installations. This robust gas ignition control delivers reliable lighting and precise flame monitoring for gas-fired furnaces, boilers, and heating systems.
Key benefits include accurate flame sensing with single or dual rod configurations, adjustable ignition trial times of 4 or 7 seconds, and a 32-second prepurge for safe startup. It features a fast flame-failure response of 1.5 seconds, helping protect against unsafe operation. The unit drives a valve rated at 2 Amp at 24V and accepts power from 24/120V AC at 60 Hz with a 5 Amp, 120V output for the hot surface ignition element.
