Zone Control Damper is a key component for precise HVAC zoning. The ARD12TZ from Resideo - Honeywell Home is an automatic, round, single-blade zone control damper designed for 12-inch ductwork, with a 22-gauge galvanized steel blade and a 24-gauge frame for durable performance.

It features fail-safe operation with a normally open default and a spring-return action, plus an adjustable close-position range stop for precise dampening. The 24V AC, 60 Hz motor delivers 71 in-oz of torque and a 90-degree travel, with a 30-second power-open and 10-second spring-return timing. The unit offers a low pressure drop (<0.0329 in. WC at 800 FPM) and a maximum static pressure of 1 in. WC.

Designed for versatile installation, it can mount on the side or top of the duct and uses standard motor wiring (M1-Power, M6 Common, M4 LED-indication option). Operating temperature 40 to 140°F ensures reliable performance in moderate climates.
