Resideo - Honeywell Home ZD22X8TZ Zone Control Damper is a high-performance rectangular, parallel blade zone damper engineered for precise HVAC zoning. This 22 inch by 8 inch duct damper features extruded aluminum blades for durability, plus built-in Spring Return, Mechanical Visual Position Indicator, Fail Safe, and Normally Open Operation for dependable safety and control.

Powered by a 24 Volt AC motor at 60 Hz with an 8 VA rating and 71 inch-ounces of torque, it delivers accurate positioning through a 90-degree rotation. The unit is designed for robust environments, with a temperature range of 40 to 140°F and a maximum static pressure rating of 1 inch WC.

Its performance is optimized for comfort and efficiency, featuring a low pressure drop (0.0329 inch WC at 800 fpm) and fast response times: 30 seconds to power-open and 10 seconds for spring-return operation. The damper mounts on the side, uses a power-closed/spring-open motor type, and includes wiring options to motor terminals M1, M6, and optional M4 LED indication for quick status checks.
