White-Rodgers 37C73U-174 is a gas water heater control engineered for natural gas systems, delivering precise flame regulation and reliable operation.

This gas water heater control features a 1/2" NPT inlet and a 1/2" inverted flare outlet, ensuring compatibility with standard residential piping. Designed for nat. gas applications, it covers a 70-155°F temperature range with a fully regulated main and a pilot regulator fixed at 5.0" W.C., delivering safe and consistent performance.

A single-cycle E.C.O. is set at 195°F for added protection, while the shank length is 1-1/4" to fit common installations. It also replaces A.O. Smith 186300-000 and is compatible with White-Rodgers 37C73U-652 for retrofit projects.
