How the rebuild works
Core exchange is required — we rebuild your catalytic converter, so we need your core to complete the job.
- Place your order. Order the converter rebuild you need — gas or diesel — at newenglandsupplyhouse.com.
- Get your converter to us. Choose drop-off or shipping at checkout and we’ll send instructions — drop-off is by appointment at our Foxboro shop, or ship it to us from anywhere in the country. We rebuild your unit with new internals, built to meet EPA emissions standards.

Fits the Altec DRM12
The Altec DRM12 is a 12-inch controlled-feed drum chipper offered with a Kubota Tier 4 diesel (74–84 hp, diesel oxidation catalyst) or a GM 3.0L gas engine (89 hp, 3-way catalytic converter). We rebuild the converter for either. Tier 4 units (roughly 2015 and newer) carry the catalyst; check your engine year with us if you're unsure. New England Supply House rebuilds the catalytic converter for this machine and the rest of the Altec lineup.
