The ASCO 8262H007 is a two-way, normally closed general purpose solenoid valve with a stainless steel body and 1/4 in. NPT pipe connections. It is operated by a 24V DC coil and is rated for water and light oil service, making it suited to shutoff and on/off control duty in HVAC, plumbing and light industrial fluid lines.
Because the valve is normally closed, it stays shut whenever the coil is de-energized and opens only while 24V DC is applied, so flow is cut off automatically if power is lost. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion in wet service. This is a genuine ASCO replacement part.
