Carrier EA36UZ067 Thermal Expansion Valve

The Carrier EA36UZ067 is a genuine Carrier replacement thermal expansion valve (TXV). The TXV meters liquid refrigerant into the evaporator coil, adjusting its opening in response to the temperature sensed at the coil outlet so the coil is fed the right amount of refrigerant across changing load conditions and superheat stays within range.

A TXV that is stuck, leaking at the power head, or has lost its charge leads to poor cooling, coil freeze-ups, or high superheat and compressor stress. Replacing it with the correct Carrier valve restores proper refrigerant control. Confirm part number EA36UZ067 against your equipment's parts list before ordering.
