The VT2223 Zone Valve Body from Erie Controls delivers reliable control for heating and cooling systems. This 2-Way, 1/2 inch valve features threaded end connections and a 2-Position, spring-return actuation for precise, fail-safe operation. The body is forged brass with a nickel-plated stem and Buna N paddle for long life.
Designed for hot water, chilled water, and glycol blends, it accommodates 32 to 200 F and handles up to 300 psi static pressure. The valve is normally closed for safe shut-off and can be mounted horizontally or vertically to fit your layout. With a 3.5 Cv flow, it provides steady performance across common hydronic circuits. Valve timing is 25 seconds at 60 Hz, 30 seconds at 50 Hz, and 9 seconds for spring-return from full open to close.
- Hysteresis synchronous motor for long life and consistent operation.
- Spring-return operation provides a fail-safe closure and includes a manual override lever for service.
- End connections: threaded x threaded; 1/2" nominal size; supports horizontal or vertical mounting.
- Materials: forged brass body, brass seat, nickel-plated stem, Buna N paddle.
- Media and applications: hot water, chilled water, glycol; ideal for heating and cooling systems.
