Erie Controls VT2312 Zone Valve Body

VT2312 Zone Valve Body by Erie Controls is a compact, 2-way valve engineered for reliable heating and cooling control. The VT2312 uses a 3/4 inch nominal size with soldered ends and a 2-position, spring-return actuator, delivering a fail-safe normally closed operation for precise zone control.

Constructed with a forged brass body and Buna N paddle, it safely handles hot and chilled water and glycol. It operates within 32 to 200°F and supports up to 40 psi close-off and 300 psi static pressure, making it suitable for demanding hydronic systems. The valve offers horizontal or vertical mounting, a 2.5 Cv flow rating, and a robust nickel-plated stem with brass seat for long life.

Key performance includes a 25-second valve timing at 60 Hz, 30 seconds at 50 Hz, or 9 seconds for spring return (full open to full close). It is designed for heating and cooling applications and handles media such as hot water, chilled water, and glycol.

Features ensure dependable operation in busy systems, including a hysteresis synchronous motor for longevity, a manual override lever for emergency control, and a fail-safe spring-return mechanism.
