The Honeywell Home S8901A1020 from Resideo is a hot surface ignition (HSI) control module for gas-fired furnaces, boilers and heating appliances. The low-voltage control energizes a line-voltage hot surface igniter to light the burner and uses a single-rod configuration with one trial for ignition and a 15-second trial time. Flame failure response time is 0.8 second minimum to 1.3 seconds maximum at 5 uA, 60 Hz, and the control is listed to UL 60730-1 and UL 60730-2-5.
