The Schneider Electric MA-418 Damper/Valve Actuator delivers precise control for dampers and globe valves. This ON/OFF, SPST, 2-Position, 2-Wire rotary actuator operates on 120 Volt AC with Spring Return for fail-safe operation.

Designed for HVAC and building automation, the MA-418 combines rugged performance with a compact size. It features a die-cast aluminum body, 60 in-lb of torque, and a wide 170° rotation to accurately position dampers and valves. The unit runs at 60 Hz and consumes 70 W during operation, dropping to 25 W in hold, maximizing efficiency. A clockwise rotation and a simple terminal-block connection simplify installation, while the NEMA 1 enclosure protects sensitive electronics in typical mechanical rooms. The actuator operates over a wide temperature range from -40 to 136 degrees Fahrenheit and fits a compact footprint of 8-1/2 in W x 10-5/8 in D x 8-7/8 in H.
