The Schneider Electric MS40-7043-501 Damper/Valve Actuator is an electric, modulating, proportional rotary actuator designed for precise HVAC control. The MS40-7043-501 Damper/Valve Actuator delivers reliable spring-return operation for fail-safe positioning in dampers and globe valves.

Designed for flexible power and control, this actuator uses a 24 V AC or 22–30 V DC supply (50/60 Hz) and provides 35 in-lb of torque across a 95-degree rotation. It features a rugged NEMA 2 enclosure, a 5/8 inch shaft, and a 3-foot plenum cable with a 1/2 inch conduit connector for easy installation in indoor environments. UL, CSA, CE, and other approvals ensure compatibility with global HVAC standards.

Control versatility is built in with a 2 to 10 VDC or 4 to 20 mA input range, enabling precise modulation for damper and globe valve applications. An SPDT auxiliary switch adds convenient feedback options, while the unit’s 4.2 watt running and 2.4 watt holding power optimize energy use in continuous operation.
