Watts LF70A-F Hot Water Extender Tempering Valve is a high-precision thermostatic valve designed for residential hot water systems. The 1/2 inch nominal size with female soldered connections delivers reliable tempering performance, blending hot and cold water to keep outlet temperatures safe and stable.

With a brass body, lead-free construction, and a 120–160°F temperature range, this valve supports tankless heaters, traditional water heaters, solar water systems, and other small domestic supply setups. It handles up to 150 PSI and offers a compact end-to-end footprint for tight installations. The included Dial Adjustment Cap, replaceable thermostat, and stainless steel spring ensure easy setup and long-term maintenance.
