New England Supply House rebuilds the 3-way catalytic muffler on LPG and propane forklifts — core exchange, built to meet EPA/CARB emissions standards, usually a 1–2 business day turnaround, for less than a new OEM unit.

How forklift catalytic muffler core exchange works

On an LPG/gas forklift the 3-way catalyst is built into the muffler (the "catalytic muffler assembly"). It bolts off at the exhaust flange — you don’t cut anything off the truck. Unbolt the assembly, ship it to us, and we open the can, re-core it with a fresh 3-way catalyst, reseal it, and send it back.

  1. Get a quote and place your order. Send your forklift’s make, model, engine, and the muffler part number if you have it. We’ll reply with a price and set up your order.
  2. Get your catalytic muffler to us. Unbolt the catalytic muffler at the exhaust flange, then choose drop-off or shipping — drop-off is by appointment at our Foxboro shop, or ship it to us from anywhere in the country with tracking and insurance. We’ll send instructions with your order. We rebuild it with a new 3-way catalyst, built to meet EPA/CARB standards.
  3. Back to work in 1–2 days (typically). Standard turnaround is 1–2 business days from receiving your core. Need it sooner? Ask about expedited service.
