Forklift Catalytic Converter & Muffler Rebuild — LPG/Propane Core Exchange

New England Supply House rebuilds the 3-way catalytic muffler on LPG and propane forklifts — core exchange, built to meet EPA/CARB emissions standards, usually a 3–5 business day turnaround, for less than a new OEM unit.

How forklift catalytic muffler core exchange works

On an LPG/gas forklift the 3-way catalyst is built into the muffler (the "catalytic muffler assembly"). It bolts off at the exhaust flange — you don’t cut anything off the truck. Unbolt the assembly, ship it to us, and we open the can, re-core it with a fresh 3-way catalyst, reseal it, and send it back.

  1. Get a quote. Send your forklift’s make, model, engine, and the muffler part number if you have it.
  2. Unbolt the catalytic muffler at the exhaust flange and ship it to us.
  3. We rebuild it with a new 3-way catalyst, built to meet EPA/CARB standards.
  4. We ship it back — usually within 3–5 business days.

Rebuild by engine

Forklift catalysts fit by engine, not brand — the same engine appears across many nameplates.

CARB & compliance

California’s CARB Large Spark-Ignition (LSI) fleet rule and OSHA indoor-air limits are the reason your forklift has a certified 3-way catalyst in the first place. See forklift catalyst compliance for what that means for your fleet.

Pricing: Forklift catalytic-muffler rebuilds are quoted per engine and unit — call 774-701-6374 for your price.

We also rebuild catalytic converters for wood chippers, stump cutters, mulchers and off-road equipment. See our catalytic converter rebuild program.
