Amtrol EX-15 Hydronic Expansion Tank

The Amtrol EX-15 Hydronic Expansion Tank is a compact, in-line solution for closed, non-potable hydronic heating systems. With 1/2 inch male threaded inlet and outlet connections, this tank integrates cleanly into standard piping while delivering reliable expansion control.

Constructed from urethane-top-coated steel, it withstands up to 240°F and 100 PSIG. Its heavy-duty diaphragm of butyl/EPDM accommodates thermal expansion with minimal maintenance. The tank ships factory pre-charged at 12 PSIG and includes a projection welded air valve, an automatic air vent, and an air purger to keep the system air-free.

With a 2-gallon capacity and dimensions of 8 in. diameter by 13 in. height, the EX-15 is lead-free and covered by a 5-year warranty. It carries IAPMO R&T and ISO 9001 certifications for safety and quality.
