Amtrol SX90V Hydronic Expansion Tank

The Amtrol SX90V Hydronic Expansion Tank is a vertical stand-type solution designed for reliable closed hydronic heating systems. This 44-gallon unit features a 22-inch diameter and 36-inch height, providing robust thermal expansion capacity for residential and light commercial installations. The tank uses a urethane top-coated steel shell and a heavy-duty Butyl/EPDM diaphragm rated up to 240°F and 100 PSIG.

Designed for a closed, non-potable hydronic heating system, this expansion tank ships factory pre-charged with air at 12 PSIG. It combines lead-free construction with calibrated air charge management to maintain system pressure and extend component life. Includes a projection welded air valve, automatic air vent, air purger, and steel system connection for simple, ready-to-install integration.
